Testing Center Conduct

Biology Students  
  • Please use pencil to take the tests.
  • Do Not Write On The Tests!
  • No retakes on the same day without written permission from the instructor.
  • Anyone receiving a perfect score may not retake a test.
 
All Students  
  • For your protection, picture ID may be requested.  Students temporarily without ID may bring a permission slip from the instructor allowing them to test.
  • Cell phones must be turned off and put away before entering the TC.
  • No earphones are allowed.
  • Dictionaries may not be used during testing.
  • No talking to anyone other than Testing Center staff.  Refrain from talking when entering the room and in the hallway outside the Testing Center.
  • All items (except purses) must be put on the shelves.  The Testing Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Children are not allowed in the Testing Center.
  • Students may use only the scratch paper provided.  It must be turned into the staff.
  • Quizzes must be completed at the student's desk.  No changing answers in line.
  • No answers (correct or incorrect) may be taken out of the Testing Center.
  • Only ONE person at the grading table.
  • Chemistry student may not share calculators.
  • Out of consideration for students taking tests, children are not allowed in the Testing Center.
 
Procedure For Misconduct  

At the discretion of the TC staff, infractions of the above will be dealt with in the following manner:

  1. The student's instructor will be notified.

  2. If a second episode occurs, the student will forfeit TC privileges.

  3. If a problem persists, the Department Chair of Natural Sciences will be notified.

Students should be familiar with the Student Conduct Code in the Student Policies and Procedures Manual.
