Interesting Factoid: |
I always try new foods when traveling, although sometimes during field research it isn’t so much a choice. Classic examples: peanut butter ice cream (Bonaire, N.A.); buffalo chili (Pecos Mine, New Mexico); buckwheat bagels (sitting atop the Elizabeth Mine tailings, Vermont...now a Superfund site); and for breakfast one day, fried chicken’s feet with rice (Guangdong province, China). |
