Introduction to chemical concepts through application to common activities in everyday life and modern issues: electricity, energy, medicine, pollution, cleansers, food, and nutrition, poisons, plastics and cosmetics. One-semester survey for non-science majors. IAI: P1 903L 4.0 credit hours. Three hours of classroom time and a three hour lab weekly.
