Timeline for BIO 226
□ Read course Introduction (ASK IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS)
□ Read Course Overview, Course Syllabus, and Study Techniques (ASK IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS)
□ Begin Head and Neck Overview, using the suggested study techniques & reading the assigned readings in your text. Remember to study & highlight (in your text) ONLY those structures in the Head and Neck Structure List. When you feel that you have mastered the structure list, test yourself by looking at the images at Head & Neck Anatomy. Follow the same protocol for the Thorax region. (ASK IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS)
□ When you feel you are ready - go to the TC and request EXAM I for BIO 226. Be sure to review Exam Specifics and Study Techniques in terms of the types of questions that will be presented on the exam. Remember to allow yourself sufficient time to complete the exam before the TC closes for the day. (You cannot take the exam in the evening. The TC is open then - but ONLY for designated evening courses.) EXAM I must be completed by the XX of February.
□ Once you have completed the exam, e-mail me so that I will know to go down and collect your exam for grading. Once I have it graded - I will e-mail your grade to you or post it on Angel. You are more than welcome to come in and look at the test and ask questions. (ASK IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS)
□ Follow the same protocol for your preparation for Exam II, i.e., begin with the Abdomino-pelvic Overview & readings, and then move on to the Structure List and Anatomy links. EXAM II must be completed by March XX. (ASK IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS)
